The Plant Process Engineer will be the overall process expert of the biocarbon production processes. - Develop and maintain safe and reliable systems to monitor and control the process.
- Lead and/or support the execution of projects related to your process area of responsibility
- Process troubleshooting and improvements.
- Drive development of new products, new processes, and support improvements to product quality and cost structure
- Coordinate and lead trials to further refine, improve, and develop the process
- Identify opportunities for product quality and product capability improvements to drive long term growth into more profitable business.
- Support development and training of resources plantwide
- Master’s degree in Manufacturing and Mechanical Systems Integration or similar field.
- 12 Months of experience as Manufacturing Engineer or Process Engineer
- Education or experience (which may have been gained concurrently) must include at least 12 months of demonstrated ability in utilizing the following computer design software and programs AutoCad, Solidworks, SIMIO Simulation, & Minitab)
- Occasional Domestic Travel is required throughout the United States to visit customer and vendor sites.
- Prior process engineering experience in heavy manufacturing environment
- Prior project management or engineering experience
- BS Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or Metallurgy 2 plus years exp.
