The Plant Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the supervision of electrical projects and support operating departments in the plant.
▪(BSEE or BSEET).
▪2 years of technical experience in a manufacturing environment including troubleshooting and project work.
▪Ability to prioritize multiple projects to ensure timely completion.
▪Ability to work in a group or independently to achieve goals.
Preferred
▪Knowledge of power distribution equipment, switchgear, transformers, relays protection, AC/DC motors, drives, and PLCs.
▪Experience with medium and high voltage equipment and substations.
▪Experience with a comprehensive transformer maintenance program.
▪Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs.
▪AutoCAD experience
▪Experience with HVAC systems and Compressed Air Systems
▪Experience in a steel making or heavy manufacturing environment.

- Engineer and coordinate capital and non-capital project work using plant personnel and contractors.
- Assist production departments and plant electrical engineer as needed for projects, process improvement, and troubleshooting.
- Lead contractors for work on power distribution systems, lighting, cable and conduit installations, and related technology improvements to electrical systems.
- Work with contractors to rectify deficiencies identified in audits with loss prevention/insurance carriers.
