This internship is located at NanoAl located in Billerica, MA
- This internship is available to students able to reliably commute to Billerica, MA. We are currently recruiting for Fall/Winter 2025, Winter/Spring 2026, and Summer 2026. This internship may be conducted on either a part-time or full-time basis. Hours are flexible but limited to first shift, Monday through Friday. Weekend and off-shift hours are not available.

What Are My Responsibilities as an Engineering Intern at NanoAl?
- Participate in engineering activities, including brainstorming, prototyping, assembly, testing, and documentation.
- Help source and manage materials and components.
- Support the use of engineering tools such as Fusion 360, 3D printing, machining, etc.
- Contribute to the testing of integrated subsystems and report results under the guidance of engineers.
- Collaborate with NanoAL team members to complete project milestones.
- Provide general project support and complete other assignments as needed.
What Qualifications Do I Need?
- Pursuing a technical certification or degree (i.e. Mechanical, Machinist, Electrical, Electrician, Industrial, etc.).
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on hands-on tasks.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and machine tools.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or electrical systems.
- Familiarity with engineering software (Fusion 360 a plus).
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively.
