Description:
- Leadership & Accountability of Superintendents: Lead, coach, and hold superintendents accountable for performance. Set clear expectations, conduct regular reviews, address performance issues quickly, and ensure superintendents own their results.
- Field Production Performance: Own company-wide field production. Ensure weekly production plans are consistently achieved (=90% of planned scope with labor hours within ±5% of plan); variances are identified early, and corrective actions are implemented swiftly.
- Execution Planning & Means/Methods: Ensure every job has a complete execution plan before starting. Identify risks early, define effective methods, select the right equipment and formwork, and continuously improve processes to eliminate inefficiencies and recurring mistakes.
- Consistent Field Execution: Drive standardized execution and best practices across all jobsites. Identify and correct inconsistencies quickly so that work is performed the same way—where it matters—regardless of crew or location.
- Field Labor Allocation & Utilization: Ensure the right people are in the right roles at the right time. Optimize crew staffing, actively manage craft performance, and maintain strong labor utilization with overtime kept at or below 10% of total labor hours.
- Safety & Quality Oversight: Support and reinforce a strong safety culture and rigorous quality standards across all field operations in alignment with company and OSHA requirements.
- Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive experience in commercial concrete construction, with at least 4–5 years in a leadership role overseeing multiple superintendents or large field teams.
- Proven track record of improving field production, labor efficiency, and consistent execution across multiple projects.
- Strong knowledge of concrete means and methods, formwork systems, placement techniques, and field planning best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and hold field leaders accountable while building a high-performance culture. You are resourceful, take action without waiting for direction, and are known for delivering results on complex, multi-crew jobs.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to review production data, identify variances, and drive corrective actions.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Experience with construction management software (e.g., Procore) and Microsoft Office.
