Collaborates with other departments and leadership to identify and develop needs and requirements for materials while managing vendor relationships. The Purchasing Manager position is part of a team driven to identify, develop and deliver innovative solutions, driven to constantly improve process capability and production volumes.

- Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
- Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies
- Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
- Assess, manage, and mitigate risks in the supply chain
- Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers
- Determine quantity and timing of deliveries and follow up on past due orders
- Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand
- Expedite / Delay orders
- Work with Customer Service on daily needs
- Support the company’s quality policy and objectives by complying with quality management requirements specified in the quality assurance manual, quality management system procedures and work instructions.
