Inside Sales Engineer

We are seeking a technical-minded Inside Sales Engineer with a background or interest in CNC machining and manufacturing processes. This role will include administrative and coordination responsibilities such as quote entry, RFQ management, and data handling. It will transition to adding technical review, and customer interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer communication (calls, emails, inquiries)
• Sales & estimating support including quote entry and vendor coordination
• Technical review of prints and models
• RFQ and supplier coordination
• Reporting and document management
• Pricing updates including tariffs and surcharges
• General office and team support
  
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Background or exposure to machining/CNC/manufacturing
• Ability to read technical drawings (or willingness to learn)
• Strong communication skills
• Strong organization and time management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with emphasis in Excel
• High school diploma or equivalent
  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• CNC machining, setup, or programming experience
• Estimating or quoting experience
• SolidWorks or CAD exposure
• Understanding of cycle times and tooling
  
  
  

Shift and pay

• This is a first shift salary position with a flexible schedule of 45 hours per week
• Pay is based on experience
