Position SummaryWe are looking for a skilled and dependable Auto Mechanic / Service Technician to perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on various makes and models of vehicles. Essential QualificationsExperience: 2 years of professional automotive repair experience is required.Certification: Valid state inspection license and ASE certifications (or willingness to obtain them) are highly desirable.Tool Proficiency: Must own a professional set of tools necessary to perform required repairs.Computer Skills (Mandatory): Must have strong working knowledge and direct experience using Mitchell 1 software (including RepairCenter, ProDemand, or Manager SE) for diagnostics, repair order writing, and estimating.III. Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnostics & Repair: Accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using both manual inspection and diagnostic equipment. Perform efficient and quality repairs (e.g., brakes, steering, suspension, engine repair).Software Utilization: Use Mitchell 1 software daily to look up repair information, access wiring diagrams, generate repair estimates, and document all services performed.Maintenance: Execute routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, fluid flushes, tire rotations, and battery testing.Quality Control: Conduct final inspections and test drives to ensure the completeness and safety of all repairs.Shop Standards: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment and adhere strictly to all safety protocols.
