The Steamboat procurement team is looking for someone with excellent organization and communication skills. The warehouse worker will assist with maintaining clean, efficient, and detailed operations regarding goods and products that come to or pass through the Steamboat Resort. This position will be instrumental in the movement and stock of products to all locations throughout the resort.
Detailed job description, including responsibilities, work performed, tools or equipment used, etc.:
- Responsible for maintaining proper storage, quality, freshness, and rotation of F & B products
- Loading and staging of goods to be transported out of base area, and manage their movement around SSRC locations
- Receive and confirm uploaded product pallets repack if necessary
- Loading of delivery pallets onto haul cats and on-road vehicles
- Facilitate recycling by overseeing the organization and downloading of all waste materials from mountain lodges
- Maintain a professional level of cleanliness in all work areas
- Compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements
- Other duties, as assigned
Minimum skills, experience, education and ability required for this job:
- Ability to operate a forklift, dumpster flipper, snowmobile, haul cat, pallet jack, and company road vehicles required
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be comfortable around busy loading docks
- Must meet SSRC minimum driving standards and have a current valid drivers license; a successful motor vehicle record background check is required
- Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with Steamboat Ski and Resort Company's Service Excellence standards
Physical Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Ability to walk on uneven floors in slick conditions
- Must be able to use stairs
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions including severe winter cold
- Communicate clearly in English, both verbal / non-verbal, and written
Miscellaneous information:
- This is an hourly position and is subject to overtime
- Position requires working weekends and holidays as needed

The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.
