Job Summary
SteamSOS is seeking a licensed Massachusetts 2nd Class Stationary Engineer / High Pressure Boiler Operator to operate a temporary rental boiler system at a hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced operators who take pride in maintaining safe and reliable boiler plant operations in a healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate and monitor high-pressure rental boilers.
- Perform routine rounds, inspections, and equipment readings.
- Maintain accurate operating logs and records.
- Monitor boiler water levels, pressure, and overall system performance.
- Respond to alarms and operational issues as needed.
- Follow all hospital safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized boiler room.
Qualifications
- Valid Massachusetts 2nd Class Stationary Engineer License (Required).
- Experience operating high-pressure boilers.
- Strong understanding of boiler room safety and plant operations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Hospital or healthcare facility experience is a plus.
