A premier boutique law firm in Boston is seeking a mid-level Real Estate Transactional Associate with 5–7 years of experience to grow its mission-oriented real estate and finance practice. Clients include major financial institutions, CDFIs, and nonprofit loan funds on the lender side, and charter schools, health and human services organizations, and nonprofits on the borrower side.
Responsibilities
- Represent borrowers and lenders in construction and permanent financing
- Represent landlords and tenants in leasing transactions
- Handle asset and equity acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, and organizational restructurings
- Manage title, permitting, and closing workstreams on complex transactions
Qualifications
- 5–7 years of real estate and transactional experience
- Nonprofit community development experience preferred
- Title, land use permitting, design/construction contracts, condominiums, and affordable housing experience a plus
- Strong academic credentials, excellent writing, and a self-starter mindset
- Massachusetts bar admission or eligibility to waive in

The annual salary for this position is between $130,000 and $175,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
