Its trial lawyers and advisors represent businesses, government entities, educational institutions and insurers in complex litigation, inside and outside the courtroom. The role
- Handle trial and appellate litigation from pleadings through verdict
- Run discovery: written discovery, document production, depositions and motion practice
- Research and write briefs, motions and memos
- Draft contracts and counsel clients
- Work on employment, insurance, civil rights and related business matters
What you bring
- Licensed in Kansas and Missouri
- 2 years of relevant litigation experience, with hands-on discovery
- Excellent research and writing skills
- Strong academic credentials
- Clear written and interpersonal communication, and good time management
- Of Counsel candidates: deeper trial experience and the ability to work independently with clients
Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $120,000 and $225,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
