Stealth Trailers in Sturgis is seeking a Roof installer experienced in the process to join our Finishing Team.

Job Summary:
The Roof Installer is responsible for assembling, fitting, and installing roofing systems on cargo trailers according to production specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements. This role involves handling and securing metal or membrane roofing materials, sealing seams, and ensuring weatherproof integrity across various trailer models.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install aluminum, galvanized steel, using proper tools and fasteners.
- Follow detailed blueprints, diagrams, or verbal instructions to ensure proper alignment and fit.
- Apply sealants, weatherproofing tape, and waterproof membranes at seams, corners, and screw penetrations.
- Inspect roof frames and structures to ensure they are square and ready for panel installation.
- Use hand and power tools including drills, riveters, caulking guns, and shears to cut and fasten roofing materials.
- Identify and report structural defects or quality issues before and during installation.
- Work safely at heights and around potentially sharp metal surfaces.
- Collaborate with other team members in the assembly line to meet daily production targets.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to housekeeping and safety policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- 1 year experience in roofing, metal fabrication, or trailer manufacturing preferred.
- Ability to read tape measures, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Comfortable working on ladders, scaffolds, and elevated platforms.
- Familiar with sealing and weatherproofing techniques (tape, caulk, lap sealing).
- Physically fit and able to lift 50 pounds regularly.
- Attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship.
- Must adhere to company safety policies and use proper PPE.
