We’re building the modern alternative to traditional self-storage: local, flexible, and priced for the real world.
We’re growing fast, expanding into new markets, and looking for a Social Media Manager to own how we show up across every major platform.
The Role
You’ll own organic social media end to end. That means strategy, content, community, partnerships, and reporting across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, X, Threads, and Pinterest. You’ll be the voice of the brand in public, the editor behind every post, and the operator who turns hosts, renters, and market launches into stories people actually want to watch.
This is a builder role. You’ll shape the playbook, not inherit one.
What You’ll Do
- Own the organic social strategy across all major platforms and translate it into a weekly content calendar
- Produce and edit short-form video, photography, and copy. Comfort behind a phone camera and inside CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or equivalent is a must
- Tell the marketplace story through real hosts and renters. Source, interview, film, and publish
- Lead community management. Respond, engage, and turn comments into conversations and conversations into customers
- Plan and execute market-launch campaigns as we open new cities, starting with Dallas
- Run creator and influencer partnerships in storage, real estate, and local lifestyle niches
- Build a UGC engine that gets hosts and renters posting about us
- Partner with paid media on creative testing, hooks, and concept-to-asset workflows
- Track performance against clear goals. Report on reach, engagement, saves, shares, follower growth, and qualified marketplace signups. Iterate based on what the data says
- Steward brand voice and visual system across every post, comment, and DM
What We’re Looking For
- 3 to 6 years owning social media for a consumer brand, marketplace, or DTC company
- A portfolio that shows range: short-form video that performs, copy that has a point of view, and accounts that grew under your watch
- Native fluency across TikTok and Instagram Reels. You understand hooks, pacing, trends, and how each platform actually works in 2026
- Strong writer. Direct, clear, no filler
- Self-directed operator who can run a calendar, hit deadlines, and ship without hand-holding
- Comfortable on camera or skilled at directing the people who are
- Working knowledge of social tools: Sprout, Later, Buffer, Meta Business Suite, TikTok Business Center, Notion, Figma
- Analytical mindset. You read the numbers and adjust
- You’ve built a personal or brand audience from zero
Bonus Points
- Experience launching a brand in new geographic markets
- Background in real estate, property, automotive, storage, or local services
- Familiarity with paid social creative, even if you’ve never bought media yourself
