Role Summary

As Senior Frontend Engineer, you'll build and scale our consumer-facing web application using React and TypeScript. You'll be hands-on with coding while contributing to architectural decisions for interactive experiences, working closely with product and engineering teams to shape our frontend architecture and deliver high-quality features.

Key Responsibilities

• Work as part of our product development team, building, launching, and scaling our consumer web application
• Code web applications using React and TypeScript
• Utilize Next.js to server side render React
• Participate in the architectural design of interactive web experiences
• Optimize application performance, bundle sizes, and load times to ensure a fast, responsive user experience
• Work on testing and pipelines for delivering the application to production
• Collaborate with international development teams across time zones, providing mentorship, guidance, and code reviews
• Partner with product and design teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Innovate, learn, and lead in a high-paced environment, showing a growth mindset and problem-solving skills at every opportunity

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of front-end development experience
• Strong language expertise in ES6 and TypeScript
• Client development experience with ReactJS
• Proven track record ensuring code quality and performance
• Extensive experience with fetching data, storing, and rendering that data on web
• Experience interacting with APIs via GraphQL, REST, or other protocols
• Was a key engineer on multiple complex projects with architectural or design contributions

Preferred Experience

• Startup environment or consumer application experience (or both)
• Successfully partnered with remote development teams
• Experience with React Server component, server-side rendering, or Next.js"
• NodeJS or other API development experience
• Built CI/CD pipelines
• End-to-end testing of web applications
