What You’ll Do
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of our flagship iOS app built with React Native
- Build and maintain high-performance and scalable mobile experiences Collaborate closely with design, product, backend engineering and AI research teams to ship shopping features
- Define the architecture and technical roadmap for the iOS app as we scale
- Own critical product features end-to-end, from prototype to production
- Help set and promote mobile engineering best practices, code quality, and performance standards
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to other engineers as we grow the team
What We’re Looking For
- 5-7 years of professional mobile development experience, with proven expertise shipping consumer-facing apps
- Deep expertise in React Native and strong experience with TypeScript/Node.js
- Solid understanding of iOS-specific tooling (Xcode, provisioning, TestFlight) and deployment processes
- Experience integrating with REST APIs
- Strong grasp of mobile performance optimization, offline-first design, and UI/UX best practices
- Comfortable working across the stack with backend engineers when needed
- Bonus: experience with e-commerce or high-traffic consumer apps
- Bonus: past experience leading teams or mentoring other developers
- Bonus: previous experience with Expo Framework
