Member of Technical Staff [33358]

About the Role

We're looking for a Member of Technical Staff to join our engineering team and help build scalable, high-impact products from end to end. This is a hands-on full-stack engineering role where you'll work across the entire application stack, collaborate closely with the founding team, and contribute to product architecture, development, and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications.
• Build scalable backend services, APIs, and data models.
• Develop intuitive, high-quality frontend user experiences.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define and implement new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve system performance.
• Participate in architectural decisions and technical planning.
• Contribute to code reviews and engineering best practices.

Qualifications

Required

• 3 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js, Vue, or similar).
• Strong backend development experience (Python, Go, Java, Node.js, or similar).
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices and system design.
• Ability to work onsite in SoHo, New York at least 3 days per week.

Preferred

• Experience building products in startup environments.
• Experience shipping production software end-to-end.
• Familiarity with AI-powered products or machine learning applications.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
