Role Summary
The Lead Business Analyst – Manufacturing & ERP Integration is a senior, customer-facing leader responsible for owning business requirements, integration strategy, and delivery alignment for large-scale digitization programs.
This role requires 10 years of experience integrating ERP systems with manufacturing environments using Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP) and commercial integration platforms. You will guide customers through complex transformation initiatives by balancing business needs, technical feasibility, and long-term scalability.
Beyond analysis, this role is about leadership—building and mentoring teams, driving stakeholder alignment, and leading customers through multi-system, multi-year digital transformation programs.
Key Responsibilities
Manufacturing & ERP Integration Leadership
- Lead requirements definition and solution alignment for ERP–MES–manufacturing integrations.
- Work with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and manufacturing systems to enable:
- Order-to-execution workflows
- Manufacturing execution data synchronization
- Quality, inventory, and production reporting
- Apply Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP) to define scalable and maintainable integration solutions.
Enterprise Integration & Digitization Programs
- Drive integration strategy using commercial integration platforms (iPaaS, ESB, or event-driven platforms).
- Define interaction models across systems, including:
- Message-based and event-driven integrations
- API-led integration strategies
- Batch and real-time data flows
- Support enterprise-wide digitization initiatives spanning multiple manufacturing sites and business systems.
Customer Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary business and integration lead for enterprise customers.
- Facilitate workshops with executives, operations leaders, IT teams, and system integrators.
- Lead customers through large-scale digital transformation programs, managing scope, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.
- Translate business objectives into actionable system and integration requirements.
Team Building & Delivery Enablement
- Build, mentor, and lead Business Analyst and Systems Analyst teams.
- Establish best practices for requirements management, documentation, and solution validation.
- Partner closely with architecture, development, QA, and delivery leadership to ensure successful execution.
- Support pre-sales activities, solution definition, and customer engagements as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst in manufacturing IT environments.
- Proven experience integrating ERP systems with manufacturing systems.
- Deep understanding and practical application of Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP).
- Hands-on experience with commercial integration platforms (iPaaS, ESB, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, operational data flows, and KPIs.
- Demonstrated success leading large and complex digitization initiatives.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in semiconductor or electronics manufacturing environments.
- Exposure to MES platforms, shop-floor systems, and equipment automation.
- Experience supporting global customers and distributed delivery teams.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures and modern cloud integration patterns.
- Experience supporting SaaS products or product-attached services organizations.
