Field Sales Representative (Contract) — Dallas, Las Vegas, or Bay Area
A high-growth startup is scaling its data division and hiring field sales reps in Dallas, Las Vegas, and the Bay Area. This is a remote, field-based role on a short term contract, with strong potential for extension based on performance.
About the role
You will be the face of the company in your local market, meeting small and independent businesses in person to bring them into a new data partnership program. This is a relationship driven, in-market role, not a desk job. You will manage your own territory, and be judged on results.
What you will do
- Prospect and approach local businesses in your assigned market through in-person visits and outreach
- Explain the partnership program clearly and handle objections on the spot
- Sign up qualified businesses and guide them through onboarding
- Track leads, meetings, and outcomes accurately
- Report regularly on pipeline and results
What we are looking for
- Based in or near Dallas, Las Vegas, or the Bay Area, with reliable transportation
- Prior field sales, canvassing, or door to door experience required
- Comfortable with face to face sales and cold outreach
- Self motivated and able to manage your own time and territory without close supervision
- Strong communicator who can build trust quickly with small business owners
Details
- $25-30/hr base plus commission
