Armed & Unarmed Security
Looking to hire Dedicated and Flexible N.J. Licensed Security Guards (armed and unarmed) to secure premises, personnel and assets at a Senior residential complex in Newark
Duties include but not limited to patrolling property, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points: permitting entry. Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; deterring crime.
Must possess a valid SORA security guard license, must be available to work flexible shifts: 7x3, 3x11 and 11x7.
Functions:
Enforcing client and company policies and procedures
Observation and reporting of fire and safety hazards
Conducting routine foot patrols in and around buildings
Reporting all pertinent issues and incidents to the operations manager, clients, and other department supervisors
Quals:
Must possess a valid Guard Card
Must have firearm certification
Must be 21 years of age
Armed licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment
Must have reliable method for transportation
Must possess exceptional customer service skills
Must be able to write reports
Must be able to operate and maintain site specific security programs
Must be punctual
Must bring your “A Game” consistently
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
