Title: Workers' Compensation Attorney (Plaintiff/ Applicant side)
Location: Rockville Center, NY (Nassau County) or Bronx

Day-to-Day Responsibility:
- Manage a caseload of workers' compensation claims from intake through resolution
- Represent clients at hearings, depositions, and proceedings before the Workers' Compensation Board
- Draft and review legal documents, motions, briefs, and correspondence
- Conduct legal research and stay current on New York workers' compensation law and regulations
- Communicate regularly with clients, medical providers, and insurance carriers
- Negotiate settlements and advocate for maximum client benefits
Qualification:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active admission to the New York State Bar
- 4 years of prior experience in workers' compensation or related practice area required
- Strong litigation, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Spanish proficiency is preferred
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $180,000 – $250,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
