A highly respected and growing law firm is seeking a Corporate Attorney to join its Boston office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to work on sophisticated transactions alongside experienced practitioners in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on a broad range of corporate and business matters.
- Structure, negotiate, and document mergers and acquisitions, equity investments, and other strategic transactions.
- Draft and negotiate commercial agreements, including vendor, customer, licensing, and partnership agreements.
- Counsel privately held businesses, investors, and emerging companies on corporate governance and day-to-day legal issues.
- Assist clients with entity formation, capitalization, financing transactions, and general business operations.
- Work directly with business owners, executives, and in-house legal teams to provide practical legal solutions.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Active admission to the Massachusetts Bar or ability to obtain admission promptly.
- Minimum of 5 years of corporate transactional experience in a law firm setting.
- Experience handling mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance matters, and commercial contracts.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage client relationships and work independently while collaborating with a team.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Full-time, hybrid
- Salary range: $150,000-$205,000 annually performance bonuses
