Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash, sanitize, and dry dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools following food safety sanitizing procedures.
- Support food preparation by assisting with basic tasks as needed, including handling ingredients and organizing supplies.
- Help with bussing tables and clearing dishware during busy service hours to keep the dining area tidy.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including dishwashers and other cleaning appliances, adhering to all health and safety standards.
- Assist in manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of large trays or bulk supplies while maintaining proper ergonomic practices.
- Follow sanitation protocols to ensure the kitchen remains clean and compliant with food safety regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to support smooth operations during peak hours, catering events, or hotel services.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or restaurant environments is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is key.
