Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and consistency
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, payments, and cashiering duties
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing workstations, and adhering to sanitation protocols
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change
- Support food safety practices by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation guidelines
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a quick service or fast-food restaurant environment
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and friendly demeanor
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience working in a café, retail store, grocery store, or restaurant setting is advantageous
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bussing tables and food prep
