Job Responsibilities
Sales Ordering
- Accurately enter and review daily wine purchase orders, ensuring correct vintage, availability, pricing, payment terms, and shipping instructions.
- Process distributor wine orders, maintain product and pricing integrity and understand customer/country-specific requirements.
- Monitor and prompt timely shipment of sales orders; review shipment scorecard status weekly.
- Coordinate with sales teams, distributors, logistics partners, and fulfillment warehouses to ensure efficient order shipping and communication of order cycles.
- Research and resolve shipping issues, including shipping inquiries, shipping error claims, inventory reviews, and order corrections.
- Prepare and distribute weekly shipping logistics reports and weekly and monthly sales reporting.
- Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries via phone and email.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of products.
- Manage filing systems for distributor order packets and maintain accurate records.
Position Requirements
- Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education & experience
- 2 years of prior experience in sales support, inventory, or logistics preferred; other roles requiring high attention to detail within high volume
- Wine industry experience preferred but not required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with emphasis on Excel, Outlook, Word; experience in enterprise reporting system preferred
- Ability to stand or sit while operating a computer for extended periods.
- Close vision for reading screens and documents; ability to focus on computer monitors for prolonged periods.
- Ability to hear and speak clearly for phone and video calls, including in environments with moderate office noise.
- Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 50 pounds on occasion.
- Work is primarily performed in an office environment; may occasionally require work in warehouse or manufacturing areas.
- This hybrid role will require onsite presence at the REX HILL winery located in Newberg, Oregon 2 - 3 days per week.
$25.00 - $28.00 per hour.
