Registered U/S Tech – Diagnostic Imaging – PRN

Requirements
What to expect as a Registered U/S Tech:
- Work in a teamwork environment.
- Work a set schedule and be a part of rotating ultrasound call with the other five sonographers.
- Be able to deliver personal, compassionate care and have excellent customer service skills.
- Demonstrate good knowledge of principle and practice of ultrasound procedures and techniques.
- Acknowledge the various steps of ultrasound workflow process and provide detailed ultrasound imaging for the radiologist and cardiologist interpretation.
Qualifications:
- High School Graduate/Equivalent.
- Graduate from an approved ultrasound program with ARDMS, Abdomen, OB/GYN, RVT and RDCS (RDCS certification not required.
- Ability to perform Echo Cardiac Ultrasound procedures for interpretation.
- 1-2 years in a hospital or clinic setting.
