What We’re Looking For:
We are hiring a proactive, bilingual Field Safety Manager to support our Austin-area clients. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in the field, communicates with confidence, and builds strong relationships with crews and leadership alike.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, solutions-oriented, and experienced in delivering or overseeing high-impact safety training—including equipment operation (forklift, boom lift, scissor lift), fall protection, trenching & excavation, etc..
You’ll be the go-to safety leader in the field, driving real behavior change—not just checking boxes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and clear safety training, toolbox talks, and orientations in both English and Spanish.
- Conduct regular job site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with OSHA, state, and client requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, training, and safety activity.
- Identify hazards, communicate recommendations, and ensure corrective actions are completed.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning.
- Partner with client leadership to strengthen and improve site-specific safety programs.
- Represent STC as a trusted advisor, modeling our core values of Integrity, Service, and Excellence.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual in English & Spanish (required)
- 3–5 years of experience in field safety management (construction, manufacturing, or similar industries)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and practical field application
- Proven experience delivering or managing training in: Fall Protection, Trenching & Excavation, Forklift, Boom Lift & Scissor Lift Operation, Lockout/Tagout, PPE, Hazard Communication, Machine Guarding, Ladder Safety
- Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and travel to Austin-area client sites
- Relevant certifications (OSHA 30, CHST, CSP, etc.) preferred
