Catskill Seasons Inn - Shandaken, NY
We're hiring dependable, detail-oriented individuals to join our team at two boutique hotels in the Catskills.
This is more than a typical housekeeping role. We're looking for people who take pride in creating spotless, beautifully presented spaces and delivering a memorable guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare guest rooms, bathrooms, and suites, including turnovers, laundry, and restocking.
- Maintain common areas and outdoor spaces, including the pool, lawn, patios, and trash areas.
- Stage guest amenities, including fireplaces, firewood, outdoor seating, music, scents, lighting, and décor.
- Conduct room inspections, manage supplies, and assist with minor property upkeep.
- Prepare and serve simple breakfasts, assist with occasional guest check-ins, and respond to basic guest requests.
- Support event setup and other general hotel operations as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred, but willing to train the right person.
- Reliable, punctual, organized, and attentive to detail.
- Comfortable working independently and performing physically active housekeeping duties.
- Friendly and professional with guests.
- Reliable transportation, smartphone, and weekend availability.
Schedule & Compensation
Schedule: Thursday–Monday preferred (~34 hours/week), with flexibility for candidates seeking full-time hours or part-time work (2 days/week), particularly weekends.
Location: Opportunities at either or both hotels.
Pay: Hourly, based on experience. Please share your expected rate.
Accommodation: Optional off-site housing may be available at an agreed rental rate.
