We’re looking for a Coach & Sales Lead who can be both the face of our coaching team and the engine behind our growth.
Position Summary
This is a coaching sales leadership role.
Approximately 50-60% of this role is hands-on coaching (group training, personal training, and stretch therapy), while the other 40-50% focuses on driving revenue through consults, relationships, and lead conversion.
You will own the front-end client journey—from first contact to long-term retention—while delivering a world-class coaching experience on the floor.
What You’ll DoCoaching & Client Experience (50-60%)
- Lead group training, personal training, and stretch therapy sessions
- Deliver high-energy, safe, and customized sessions for all fitness levels
- Provide exercise progressions/regressions and coach proper movement mechanics
- Build strong relationships and create a supportive, inclusive training environment
- Guide clients through their full journey: onboarding → progress → retention
- Provide accountability, motivation, and education to drive long-term results
- Track progress and celebrate wins to enhance client experience
- Support and lead challenges, events, and community initiatives
- Uphold coaching standards, energy, and professionalism on the floor
Sales & Growth (40-50%)
- Conduct consults, sales appointments, and goal-setting sessions
- Own the lead pipeline: calls, texts, emails, and CRM follow-up
- Book consults for the owner and sales team through daily outreach
- Prospect through referrals, networking, events, and partnerships
- Close new memberships and guide clients into the right programs
- Execute lead nurture and retention strategies
Key Performance Expectations (90-Day Ramp – Non-Negotiable Standards)
This is a performance-based role. If you are not comfortable being measured by numbers, this is not the position for you.
You will be trained directly by the owner and given the systems, scripts, and support to succeed—but execution is on you.
First 90 Days (Earn Your Role):
- Learn and execute our sales and consult system
- Make daily calls, texts, and follow-ups without hesitation
- Shadow and assist in consults while building confidence
After 90 Days, You Are Expected To Consistently Hit:
- 2 consults booked per day (minimum)
- 6 consults completed per week
- 2 new clients closed per week
- 50% close rate
- Daily outreach activity (calls, texts, follow-ups) – no gaps
Important:
- The owner will run consults initially and train you—but you will quickly be expected to take ownership of the pipeline and results
- This is not a sit-back-and-wait role—you are expected to create opportunities daily
- Effort, consistency, and attitude will be closely monitored and coached

Additional ResponsibilitiesMarketing & Community Engagement
- Assist with social media content, testimonials, and storytelling
- Represent StayFITT at local events, B2B partnerships, and community outreach
- Help execute internal promotions, seminars, and challenges
Operations & Team Collaboration
- Maintain CRM accuracy and lead tracking
- Provide weekly reports on sales activity, conversions, and opportunities
- Collaborate with coaching staff to align programming and client needs
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and professionalism of the facility
- Assist with monthly operational tasks (inventory, scheduling, etc.)
What We’re Looking For

- Passion for coaching, accountability, and client transformation
- Strong belief that sales = changing lives
- 1–2 years in fitness, coaching, or sales (both preferred)
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Competitive, driven, and results-oriented
- Organized and proactive with strong follow-through
- Comfortable with daily outreach, phone calls, and consult-based selling
Qualifications
- Certified Personal Trainer (NASM, ACSM, ACE, etc.) – Required within 90 days - and we do internships
- CPR/AED Certified – Required
- PN1 or nutrition coaching certification – Preferred
- Stretch therapy or mobility experience – Preferred
- Experience with CRM systems and social media platforms
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals
