Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing overnight front desk operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role is vital in providing seamless guest services during nighttime hours and supporting the overall smooth functioning of our hotel or resort. Duties
- Oversee nightly check-in and check-out procedures for guests, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Manage and reconcile daily financial transactions, including billing and accounting duties
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy
- Maintain security by monitoring access to the property during overnight hours
- Prepare reports related to occupancy, revenue, and other operational data for management review
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area during shift transitions
- Utilize multi-line phone systems to address guest needs and internal communications
- Provide exceptional guest services by demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and hospitality standards
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, reservations, and updating guest profiles
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel management, front desk operations, or night audit roles preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and relations
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus to assist diverse guests effectively
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and proficiency with multi-line phone systems
- Knowledge of hospitality management software is advantageous
- Ability to work overnight shifts with flexibility in scheduling
- Professional appearance and demeanor suitable for a hospitality environment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in financial reconciliation and record keeping
