Duties

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, electrical equipment, plumbing, and building interior components to ensure optimal operation.
• Use schematics, technical manuals, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to diagnose issues and execute repairs efficiently.
• Conduct welding, carpentry, painting, and other facilities maintenance tasks to uphold the hotel’s aesthetic and safety standards.
• Maintain facilities equipment including hand tools, electrical equipment repair, and plumbing system maintenance using appropriate safety procedures.
• Supervise or assist with maintenance painting projects and interior building repairs to enhance guest experience.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems using tools such as ohmmeters and programmable logic controllers (PLCs), ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate maintenance schedules, respond promptly to service requests, and ensure high-quality customer service for guests and staff alike.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC system repair, electrical work, plumbing, and building interior maintenance.
• Proficiency with schematics, electrical equipment repair, CMMS software, and troubleshooting tools like ohmmeters.
• Skilled in welding, carpentry, painting (including residential painting), and facilities equipment maintenance.
• Knowledge of maintenance, repair & operations (MRO) practices within a hospitality or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams; familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English; capable of supervising or assisting team members effectively.
• Demonstrated experience with plumbing system maintenance & repair; experience with HVAC systems is highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, electrical equipment repair, and building interior upkeep.
• Leadership qualities with previous supervising experience preferred; ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy setting.
