SUMMARY:
Accommodates guests of hotel while displaying the highest standards of quality guest service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Cleans all assigned guest rooms according to prescribed guidelines, ensuring the guest room is in compliance with standard room setup.
- Reports "lost and found" items to the Director of Housekeeping.
- Replenishes supplies such as drinking glasses and writing supplies.
- Maintains an inventory of items placed in guest rooms.
- Responsible for using only hotel issued cleaning products.
- Responsible for communicating finished assignments to supervisor.
- Must wear required uniforms and maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBLIITIES:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
No previous experience required, but strongly preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
TRAINING NEEDS:
Training in providing quality guest service, telephone etiquette skills.
