Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Shuttle Driver to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation for guests to and from designated locations, ensuring a positive experience that reflects our commitment to exceptional customer service. This role is crucial in enhancing guest relations and contributing to the overall satisfaction of our visitors.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate shuttle vehicles while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Provide timely transportation services to guests, ensuring prompt arrivals and departures.
- Assist guests with luggage and provide information about the local area, hotel amenities, and services.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of shuttle vehicles, conducting regular inspections for safety compliance.
- Exhibit excellent customer service skills by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise during transport.
- Collaborate with hotel staff, including front desk and guest services teams, to coordinate transportation schedules effectively.
- Uphold a professional demeanor at all times, showcasing hospitality management principles in every interaction.
Experience
- Previous experience in a hospitality role is preferred, with a focus on guest services or hotel management.
- Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette is beneficial for effective communication with guests and staff.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to enhance communication with diverse guests.
- Experience in night audit roles or resort environments is a plus, contributing to a well-rounded understanding of hotel operations.
