Position Summary:
Housekeepers keep guest suites, public areas, and back-of-house spaces clean, safe, and welcoming. Staybridge guests are often on extended stays, so the role includes both full checkout cleans and lighter stayover service in suites with full kitchens and living areas
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and prepare assigned suites to brand cleanliness standards, including bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, and kitchens (dishes, appliances, cookware, and counters)
- Change linens and towels, make beds, and restock amenities and supplies
- Vacuum, dust, mop, and sanitize all surfaces, with attention to high-touch points
- Perform stayover and refresh services according to the guest’s service preferences
- Clean and maintain public areas as assigned, such as the lobby, fitness room, laundry room, hallways, and breakfast area
- Report maintenance issues, damages, and safety concerns promptly
- Handle lost-and-found items according to hotel procedure
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely, following SDS and training protocols
- Maintain and restock the housekeeping cart and storage areas
- Respond courteously to guest requests and protect guest privacy and security
- Complete room inspections and checklists accurately and on time
Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred; training provided
- Ability to work independently and manage time to meet room quotas
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Reliable, honest, and a good team player
- Bilingual communication skills are a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for the full shift
- Lift and carry up to 25–50 lbs (linens, supplies, vacuum)
- Push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart
- Work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to cleaning chemicals
Schedule:
