Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the housekeeping team to ensure all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and appearance
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, protocols, and quality control procedures to optimize efficiency and consistency
- Oversee daily cleaning operations, including room cleaning, public areas, back-of-house spaces, and special event setups
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, corridors, laundry facilities, and public spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards
- Manage inventory levels for cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment; coordinate procurement as needed
- Train staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and hospitality best practices
- Collaborate with other departments to meet guest needs promptly and enhance overall service quality
Requirements
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or janitorial services within a hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, industrial cleaning methods, and custodial practices
- Familiarity with hotel operations, guest service standards, and hospitality industry regulations
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment use
