Part-time Housekeeper (Experience Required)

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. You must have prior housekeeping experience (hotel, hospital, nursing home). The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and residents. This role requires a strong commitment to hospitality and an eye for detail, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities according to established standards.
• Conduct floor care including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
• Manage housekeeping supplies and report any shortages or maintenance needs.
• Ensure all areas are stocked with necessary amenities and supplies.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and inquiries.
• Assist with laundry services as needed, ensuring linens are clean and well-maintained.
• Collaborate with housekeeping management to improve processes and efficiency.

Skills

• Proficient in floor care techniques and equipment operation.
• Strong background in hospitality with an emphasis on cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
• Experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning methods and safety procedures.
• Familiarity with hotel operations and standards is beneficial.
• Ability to maintain high cleanliness standards while working efficiently under pressure.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
