Front Desk Agent – Hybrid Position
StayApt is seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Front Desk Agent to join our team in Ooltewah, Tn. This is a hybrid position, which includes both front desk responsibilities and housekeeping duties as needed. The applicant must be willing to clean rooms as part of their role.
As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. Your role will be crucial in creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Duties:
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner upon arrival
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and efficiently
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member
- Process reservations and update guest information in the computer system
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure guest satisfaction
- Handle cash transactions accurately and securely
- Assist with housekeeping duties, including cleaning guest rooms, as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred
- Previous housekeeping experience is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of reservation systems
- Ability to handle difficult situations with patience and professionalism
- Detail-oriented with a focus on providing exceptional service to guests
- Bilingual is preferred but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be willing to perform cleaning and housekeeping tasks
