Experienced Satellite & Starlink Installer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Satellite & Starlink Installer to join our dynamic field service team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and troubleshooting satellite communication systems, including Starlink and other satellite internet services. Your expertise will ensure reliable connectivity for residential and commercial clients by performing precise equipment setup, cable routing, and system testing. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, utilize advanced tools, and deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining high standards of safety and technical excellence.

Duties

• Install satellite dishes, Starlink terminals, and associated equipment on various structures including rooftops, poles, and walls using ladders and mechanical lifts.
• Conduct telecommunications network cable installation, including fiber splicing, Ethernet wiring, and low voltage cabling to ensure optimal signal quality.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, wire crimpers, wire strippers, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and fiber splicing equipment to complete installations accurately.
• Test installed systems for proper operation using equipment testing devices; troubleshoot issues related to signal strength, electrical connections, or network configurations.
• Configure Cisco routers and other networking hardware to establish secure internet connections; perform system updates as needed.
• Maintain detailed documentation of installation procedures, system configurations, and service reports; ensure all work complies with safety standards.
• Operate company vehicles responsibly during field service appointments while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining system features, answering questions, and ensuring client satisfaction with the installation process.
• Perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; follow safety guidelines for working at heights and with electrical components.

Experience

• Proven experience in satellite dish installation and telecommunications infrastructure setup.
• Strong background working as a telecommunications infrastructure technician or service technician in outdoor environments.
• Demonstrated knowledge of computer networking concepts including Ethernet wiring, IP configuration, and telephony systems.
• Hands-on experience with fiber splicing and telecommunications network cable installation.
• Skilled in using hand tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and power tools for electrical work.
• Experience operating ladders safely and working at heights; familiarity with mechanical equipment such as lifts or scaffolding is a plus.
• Customer service experience in a field service setting; ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
• Electrical experience including low voltage wiring, electrical testing procedures, and troubleshooting electrical issues related to satellite systems.

Pay: $1,200.00 - $3,000.00 per week
