Sales Manager Trainee

Stay Connected is hiring on behalf of our client in Bonney Lake, WA for a full-time Sales Manager Trainee role. This is a W-2 position designed for individuals looking to develop skills in sales, small team leadership, client management, and territory expansion within the telecommunications and technology industry.

This is a hands-on, entry-level management training role where you will start in retail and customer-facing sales, while gaining exposure to the day-to-day responsibilities of managing a team, overseeing client accounts, and driving territory performance.

Compensation & Schedule

• W-2 employment (not commission-only)
• Weekly base pay uncapped commissions
• Average weekly earnings: $1,000 – $1,800
• Paid training provided
• Full-time schedule (40 hours per week)
• Retail hours, including evenings and weekends (weekends required)

Key Responsibilities

• Represent renewable energy in retail locations and event-based environments
• Engage with customers to generate new accounts and drive face-to-face sales and enrollments
• Learn and apply sales strategies, product knowledge, and customer acquisition techniques
• Assist with onboarding and training new team members as you progress in the role
• Support small team management by helping track performance, goals, and daily activity
• Work directly with clients to maintain brand standards and ensure quality customer interactions
• Participate in territory planning, local market expansion, and campaign execution
• Attend daily team meetings focused on sales performance, leadership development, and growth strategy

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sales, retail, customer service, or hospitality is a plus, but not required

• High school diploma or GED required
• Reliable transportation for local travel between retail locations as needed
• Must be available to work weekends
