Staver Hydraulics is a Parker Hannifin distributor of hoses and fittings, and we have an immediate opening for a full time service/parts counter clerk / hydraulic hose assembler / supervisor.
Staver has been in business for over 60 years and has multiple Parker Store locations. We have a great reputation for excellent customer service, while maintaining while-you-wait service in a timely manner. Our selling power includes, but is not limited to, hydraulic and pneumatic hoses, quick couplings, adapters, o-rings and seals, hose covering, and accessories.
This position is an excellent opportunity for someone to learn the operations of a Parker Store, and has the possibility for future advancement. This person will work in the Bath, Pennsylvania store and will learn how to perform all the operations of a store including customer service, fabrication of hose assemblies, inventory maintenance, sales and more.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has great customer service and communication skills, likes to work with their hands in a service environment, has good problem solving skills, a positive attitude, willingness for teamwork, and is looking to build and advance our company to new levels.
Compensation will include base pay plus Commission.
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service
- Fabricate hose assemblies (training will be provided)
- Parts/Service counter
- Manage and maintain proper inventory levels in the store
- Provide product guidance to customers
- Work in collaboration with the Staver Hydraulics team to build sales
- Become a trusted expert in hose technology applications
