Role Description
Stauffer Funeral Homes is currently looking for a licensed funeral director who has the ability to
communicate effectively, can demonstrate initiative, work as part of a team to meet the needs of the
families we serve, and is currently licensed in Maryland.

crematory serving families in our Boonsboro, Brunswick, Frederick, Mount Airy, Thurmont and
Walkersville locations for over 50 years.
Qualifications
- Experience in embalming and funeral home operations
- Ability to provide family services with empathy, respect, and cultural sensitivity
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to funeral service operations
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
- Licensure as a Funeral Director and/or Embalmer (or eligibility to obtain licensure in Maryland)
- Possession of a valid driver’s license
