Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Account Specialist to join our team. The Customer Account Specialist (CAS) is responsible for customer information management, order management/entry, pricing, product availability, quoting, expediting, technical assistance, and issue resolution for assigned accounts.
Duties
- Manage customer account information, including portals and special requirements.
- Manage forecast data and provide data to purchasing for material planning.
- Contract review of order requirements, pricing, and lead time commitments to satisfy customer expectations.
- Supporting operations and procurement for the planning of customer programs.
- Maintain proficient level of product knowledge for all STAUFF products
- Accurately process customer sales orders that are submitted by email, customer portal, or direct electronic interface into our system.
- Problem solves non-technical customer issues such as delivery, lead time, pricing and product recommendations for customers and sales managers regarding sales orders.
- Handle customer complaints and work with cross-functional team for resolution, including processing return authorizations
- Establishes and maintains working relationship with all relevant contacts involved in the internal sales cycle (i.e., Sales, Purchasing, Shipping and Production).
- Maintains data integrity with customer interactions, purchase orders, confirmations, and additional information regarding customers.
- Identify and assess customers’ needs, to provide organization’s products and services, to achieve customer satisfaction.
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.
- Communicating promptly and courteously with customers by phone and email.
- Learning about the organization’s products or services and keeping up to date with changes
Requirements
- High level of professionalism, honesty, and integrity.

- Ability to maintain a broad knowledge of all company products
- Ability to multitask, while handling a high volume of phone calls and emails.
- ERP system experience with SAP
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (All Applications).
Education and Experience:
- Two-year Associates degree, Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
- 2 years of customer service experience, preferably with an industrial company.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift-up to 15 pounds at times.
