Job Title: Experienced Mill Machinist
Staub Precision Machine, a leading component manufacturer in Hamburg is seeking a team-oriented Mill machinist to join the company.

Mill Machinist
We’re seeking a skilled, motivated, and detail-oriented Mill Machinist to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with advanced DMG Mori milling technology in a highly automated, precision-driven environment. We primarily serve clients in the aerospace and medical industries, with a strong focus on quality, innovation, and continuous improvement. By spring of 2026, we’ll be moving into our state-of-the-art new facility, designed to support cutting-edge manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain DMG Mori horizontal mills (13 machines on pallet pool systems)
- Work with DMU 5-axis mills for complex, multi-surface machining
- Perform machine setups, tooling changes, and in-process adjustments to ensure part quality and cycle time efficiency
- Support or perform CNC programming (experience with Siemens or Mastercam is a plus)
- Monitor and support robotic integration and lights-out automation processes
- Conduct part inspections and adhere to tight tolerances in a high-precision environment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in accordance with company safety and quality protocols
- Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and production teams to resolve machining challenges and optimize processes
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts to increase productivity, quality, and automation readiness
Qualifications & Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience as a Mill Machinist in a production environment is required
- Experience operating DMG Mori equipment strongly preferred
- Experience with 5-axis machining and multi-pallet systems is highly beneficial
- Familiarity with robotic automation and lights-out machining processes is a strong plus
- CNC programming experience using Mastercam, Siemens, or similar software is preferred
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to producing high-quality, precision parts
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, GD&T, and work instructions
- Previous experience in aerospace or medical machining environments is a plus
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team
- Willingness to adapt to evolving technologies and participate in ongoing training
