We are seeking a proactive and skilled Hotel Repair and Maintenance Person to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our three hotel facilities in the Village of Pawling NY. . Your expertise will help create a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike, ensuring all systems function efficiently and repairs are completed promptly. Duties
- lawn mowing, snow removal, refuse removal
- preventative maintenance on lawn and snow removal equipment
- assist with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire alarm, and mechanical systems repair and maintenance
- assist with set up and maintenance of smart systems including smart locks, Amazon Alexa, smart plugs and switches, smart TV, Wi-Fi
- On call availability to address repair and maintenance issues for guests as needed
- Troubleshoot and repair issues related to building infrastructure, including lighting, plumbing, appliances, and fixtures.
- painting, light carpentry and other repair tasks to uphold the property's appearance and safety standards.
- Supervise or assist with facilities projects, including unboxing and light assembly of equipment and furniture.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest repair requests promptly and professionally.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge for comprehensive troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in reading schematics, technical manuals, and facility diagrams.
- Hands-on experience with lawn mowing, snow, light carpentry, smart technology, small engine and appliance repair and maintenance and painting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) used in building automation systems.
- Ability to operate tools such as Ohmmeters, multimeters, and other diagnostic equipment accurately.
- Experience with facilities maintenance in hospitality or manufacturing environments is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for clear documentation and team collaboration.
