Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Engage with guests to understand their preferences, recommend drinks, and provide exceptional customer service that encourages repeat visits.
- Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations to ensure accurate billing and transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols.
- Assist with food service when necessary, including serving food at banquets or catering events, ensuring timely delivery and presentation.
- Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies; restock bar stations as needed while minimizing waste.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless operations during busy nights or special events like nightclubs or large banquets.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or hospitality environments, especially within fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with cash handling and retail math is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and alcohol serving regulations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and special event days.
- Basic math skills for accurate transactions; experience in brewing or beverage preparation is advantageous.
