Independent Contract - Medical Courier position in Reno, NV offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our mission of delivering essential medical materials. As a Medical Courier, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that healthcare providers receive their supplies promptly and securely.
Availability
- Monday, Wednesday and Friday or Tuesday and Thursday
- Pickup time: 6:00pm
Responsibilities
- Transport medical materials, including specimens and pharmaceuticals, to various healthcare facilities.
- Ensure timely and secure delivery while adhering to safety protocols.
- Load and unload materials efficiently from the vehicle.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pick-ups.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare providers regarding delivery status.
- Navigate assigned routes efficiently to optimize delivery times.
- Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of local roads and navigation systems.
- Ability to lift heavy packages safely and efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills for effective customer interaction.
- Experience with route planning is advantageous.
