What are the responsibilities and job description for the Insurance Verification Representative position at Statim LLC?
A medical billing company seeking a full time employee.
Requirements:
- -Must be able to call insurance companies regarding claim status
- -Must be able to take detailed and accurate notes regarding open claims
- -Minimum of 1 year medical billing experience
- -Must have medical and insurance terminology knowledge (for example: deductible, coinsurance, copay, non-covered, balance bill, out of network, etc.)
- -Must have experience in dealing with claim denials and appealing denied claims
- -Must have knowledge of payment posting
- -Must have experience submitting medical records to insurance companies
- -Must have ability to read and understand explanation of benefits
- -Knowledge of Office Ally/Practice Mate is preferred but not required
Required Skills:
- Must be self-sufficient
- Must be a team player and also work well independently
- Must be organized and have excellent time management
- Must be able to work in a fast paced work environment
- Must have great communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
