We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Resident Manager to oversee the daily operations of a 116 unit residential community in Canoga Park. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for residents, ensuring exceptional customer service while managing property functions efficiently. Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of property operations, including collecting rents, posting and serving notices, leasing, maintenance coordination, and resident relations.
- Manage lease agreements, renewals, and move-in/move-out processes in accordance with Fair Housing regulations and guidelines.
- Maintain accurate data entry and filing of resident records, rent collections, contracts, and legal documents using Appfolio, Yardi, or similar property management software.
- Handle tenant inquiries, resolve conflicts promptly through effective conflict management strategies, and uphold excellent phone etiquette.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure proper maintenance, safety standards, and cleanliness are upheld.
- Coordinate with vendors for property maintenance and facilities management to ensure timely repairs and upgrades.

- Showing available units or amenities to prospective residents while maintaining a focus on customer service excellence.

Skills
- Proficiency in property management software such as Appfolio, Yardi, or similar platforms.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally and diplomatically.
- Experience in property leasing, sales techniques, negotiation skills, and contract management.
- Familiarity with legal administrative processes related to real estate management and occupancy compliance.
- Effective conflict management abilities coupled with strong negotiation skills to resolve disputes amicably.
- Office experience including data entry, filing systems, phone etiquette, and general administrative support.
- Knowledge of facilities management practices for property maintenance and safety protocols.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Hourly salary plus subsidized on-site housing.
Pay: $17.87 - $18.00 per hour
