About The Role

As a Procurement Technician, you’ll be the backbone of our pre-production process, ensuring every installation runs smoothly. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on organization, accuracy, and teamwork while keeping projects moving forward on time and on budget.
What You’ll Do
As a Procurement Technician, you’ll be at the heart of project execution. Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing sales contracts and spec sheets to verify accuracy of materials, charges, and scope.
- Spotting missing information or product errors and working with Pre-site Techs and managers to resolve them quickly.
- Preparing and submitting product orders to vendors, ensuring accuracy in pricing and purchase orders.
- Entering sales orders into Acumatica, cutting POs, and keeping job files audit-ready.
- Processing Work Order Changes (WOCs) swiftly and distributing updates to production teams.
- Coordinating with vendors to track materials, confirm costs, and resolve delivery issues.
- Partnering with sales, production, and management to keep communication flowing.
- Meeting department productivity and quality goals while maintaining top-notch records.
- Handling return-to-vendor requests and other procurement duties as assigned.
We’re looking for a team-oriented problem-solver with:
- Experience: Prior work in residential remodeling, construction, or procurement preferred.
- Tech Skills: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat; ability to quickly learn software like Salesforce and Acumatica.
- Organization & Detail: Sharp eye for errors, strong time management, and ability to keep multiple projects on track.
- Communication: Clear, professional written and verbal skills.
- Mindset: Energetic, enthusiastic, patient, and calm under pressure.
- Education: High school diploma required; college coursework a plus.

Physical Requirements
- Occasional lifting/moving of 50 lbs.
- Ability to sit, stand, reach, and use hands/arms as needed.
- Visual ability for close, distance, and color detail.
- In-office position, business casual dress code.
- Monday–Friday schedule.
- Bi-weekly payroll.
- Pay for the role is $24 an hour.
- Vacation and personal days (request two weeks in advance).
- Sick/late absences must be reported promptly to your manager.
