Who We Are Statewide Installations Inc. 55 years installing and servicing vehicle lifts, lubrication, and compressed air systems for major dealerships and shops across Long Island and the five boroughs. We care about craftsmanship and the final product.
Role Summary Full-time field technician focused on small-scope concrete/masonry and in-ground lift work. You'll demo, trench, form, pour, and finish concrete pads/footings; assist with in-ground lift pits; and support above-ground installs when needed. 40 hours with overtime.
What You'll Do
- Demo and site prep: saw-cut, core drill, break-out, trench, and haul debris.
- Layout and forming: measure, set forms, rebar/dowels/anchorage to spec.
- Concrete: mix/place/finish small pours (pads, piers, footings), set embeds/bolts to tolerance.
- In-ground lift support: pit layout, shoring, drainage/sump, backfill/compaction, slab restoration.
- Install coordination: work with lead installers to set lifts to spec and on time.
- Troubleshoot: identify site issues (grade, drainage, subbase) and solve fast.
- Safety and housekeeping: PPE, barricades, and keep tools/vehicles clean and organized.
Must-Haves
- 2 years concrete/masonry or similar construction experience (flatwork, forms, finishing).
- Comfortable with: mini-excavator or skid steer, concrete saw, core drill, demo hammer, laser level.
- Read tape, basic prints/layout, set anchors to tolerance.
- Able to lift 75 lbs, kneel/crawl as needed, work indoors/outdoors in all weather.
- Clean, valid NYS driver's license. Reliable transportation to LI/NYC jobsites.
- Overtime and early starts are normal. You show up and finish the job.
Nice-to-Haves (Not Required)
- OSHA-10 (or willingness to obtain), rigging basics, CDL, forklift/scissor lift certs.
- In-ground automotive lift experience.
