Job Overview
We're looking for an experience landscaper to maintain and develop new various landscaping projects in the Parowan, UT area.
Duties
- Mow lawns and trim grass using power tools and hand tools to maintain healthy, attractive turf.
- Perform landscape maintenance including planting, pruning, fertilizing, and watering plants, shrubs, and trees.
- Operate heavy machinery such as excavators and other construction equipment for landscape installation or hardscape projects.
- Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure efficient watering of landscapes.
- Carry out snow plowing operations during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe.
- Maintain all landscaping equipment through regular inspections and mechanical repairs to ensure optimal performance.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairing power tools, lawn mowers, excavators, and other equipment.
- Extensive experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture practices.
- Proficiency with hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and hoes.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery including excavators for large-scale landscaping projects.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and maintenance for efficient water management.
- Skilled in tree care techniques including trimming, pruning, and removal for safety and aesthetic purposes.
- Familiarity with hardscape construction such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor features.
- Ability to perform snow plowing effectively during winter seasons to ensure safe access around properties.
- Strong understanding of landscape design principles combined with practical horticulture skills.
